Rose mosaic virus causes distorted, mottled, or yellow patterns on leaves, often appearing as zigzags, rings, or line patterns. It is spread through propagation (budding, grafting) using infected material, or occasionally by sap-sucking insects. Unfortunately, there is no cure for rose mosaic virus. Infected plants should be removed and destroyed to prevent further spread, especially if symptoms are severe or they are a source of infection for healthy plants. Always buy certified disease-free roses.
