Cotswolds Garden - FAQs

Frequently asked gardening related questions

How does over-potting lead to root rot?

In oversized pots, the abundance of unused soil retains water that roots can't immediately absorb. This creates consistently damp conditions, especially at the bottom of the pot, which invites fungal growth and root rot.

Without proper drainage and aeration, roots suffocate and decay, eventually killing the plant.
