Cotswolds Garden - FAQs
Frequently asked gardening related questions
Calla lily rhizomes should be planted approximately 5 to 7 cm (2 to 3 inches) deep in well-draining compost. Make sure the side with the visible eyes (or growing points) is facing upward. Cover them lightly with compost and firm the surface gently to remove air pockets. Water well after planting, but do not let the pot sit in standing water. Proper planting depth ensures stable growth and helps prevent rot from excess moisture.
