Cotswolds Garden - FAQs
Frequently asked gardening related questions
Yellowing leaves on a magnolia can be a sign of several issues. The most common cause is chlorosis, often due to high soil pH (alkaline soil) which prevents the plant from absorbing iron. This results in yellow leaves with green veins. Other causes include nutrient deficiencies, overwatering/poor drainage (leading to root problems), or sometimes drought stress. Test your soil pH and adjust with ericaceous fertiliser or compost if needed.
