Frequently asked gardening related questions

Do cordless tools work in cold weather?

Cordless tools, particularly their Lithium-ion batteries, can experience reduced performance in very cold weather. Low temperatures can temporarily decrease battery capacity and power output. While most can be used in typical UK winter temperatures, avoid using them in extreme cold (below 0 degrees C / 32 degrees F) for prolonged periods. It's best to store batteries at room temperature and only insert them into the tool just before use in cold conditions.
