Organic fertilisers are natural materials that provide nutrients to plants, often released slowly as they break down. Examples include blood meal (nitrogen), bone meal (phosphorus), kelp meal (potassium and trace minerals), worm castings, and well-rotted manures. Use them by incorporating into the soil before planting, or as a top-dressing around established plants. Always follow application rates, as organic doesn't mean limitless. They nourish the soil, which in turn feeds the plant.
